In recent years, this approach to healthcare has been gaining traction, promising not just to treat diseases but to prevent and even reverse them.
Recently, I was struggling with some health issues as well — headaches, slightly elevated blood pressure, and tiredness. I did many different tests, including seeing a neurologist and getting an MRI of my head, and everything was okay.
As the pain was affecting my daily life, the doctor offered me the medicine to deal with the symptoms. While pharmaceutical medicine has its benefits and we’re blessed in many ways to have it, the “take a pill” approach often is wrong, especially when we can use our lifestyle as our medicine.
